Spooky Ghost Video 'Freaking Out' Employees At Ellacoya Country Store

A general store in Gilford, N.H., is scaring up a lot of attention after releasing a spooky surveillance video.

The March 10 video shows a glass top to a cake display mysteriously thrown from the counter of the Ellacoya Country Store when no one is in the room.

"I heard this big bang," said employee Heidi Boyd, who was in a nearby room when the case smashed. "I walked around and looked and I was on the floor. It took several minutes to set in [and it's] still freaking me out," she told WMUR-TV.

The shop's manager, Lisa Giles, told The Huffington Post that Boyd texted her "in a frantic" mood.

"It didn't make sense to her," Giles said. "However, anyone who's been here a substantial amount of time has seen something. When we first opened the place, we saw the ghost of a man standing in the doorway."

Another employee once heard a man mysteriously whistling, Giles said.

Store owner Steve Buzzota later checked the surveillance tape and was shocked to see the glass tray seem to move by itself.

The video has been seen worldwide and has increased traffic to the store.

"We're getting onlookers, but I wouldn't say it's increased business," Giles said.

It's also attracted skeptics who wonder if the tray might have been moved by a string from the window opposite the counter.

That's not possible, according to Buzzota, who told WMUR-TV the window is unable to open.

Bryan Bonner of the Rocky Mountain Paranormal Society, a group that has analyzedother allegedly haunted surveillance videos, finds the video interesting, but isn't ready to declare it a real spook sighting.

"The claims that this is some type of paranormal event are more proof of people needing free advertising or adding a little 'haunt' to the biz," he told HuffPost by email. "When examining this claim, you need to apply a little common sense and examine the most likely reason, and not jump right to the paranormal explanation."

Boyd is frustrated by accusations that it's a hoax and griped about it on the Facebook page for the Ellacoya Bar & Grille.

“R YOU KIDDING ME ...WE DID NOT MAKE THIS UP PEOPLE. I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN STORE!!!!! COULDNT SLIDE OFF AND LEAVE EVERYTHING UNDER IT UNTOUCHED !!! PEDASTLE HAS 3/4 "RIM AROUND THE PLATE !!! SO EXPLAINE HOW IT COULD SLIDE OFF. UMM CUZ IT DIDNT THATS WHY !!!," she wrote.

Giles said there are plans to have some paranormal researchers examine the building, which dates back to 1890.

"A guy I once worked with was a cameraman on the show 'Ghost Hunters,'" she said.

The popular Third Phase of Moon Youtube channel today posted a 10 second video by a source who over the last month has released compelling video footage showing landed spacecraft and possible extraterrestrial occupants. According to Blake Cousins, founder of Third Phase of Moon which is based on the Big Island of Hawaii, the latest video appears to show an alien spacecraft. The source of the video, an alleged alien abductee called Ed, claims that the video is part of a collection taken by him dating as far back as 1976. The video shows an unmistakable saucer shaped UFO up close. While the quality of the video is grainy, it clearly is no conventional kind of aircraft. It is possible that the UFO is part of a classified military program, or a visiting extraterrestrial vehicle.

Little is publicly known about the source Ed who has been interviewed by Blake Cousins to discuss his experiences. Ed appeared sincere in explaining his decades long abduction experiences, and how he has taken photos and videos of extraterrestrial vehicles in remote rural locations. There is controversy over whether Ed’s latest video is genuine or not, and whether Ed is who he claims to be given the little that is publicly known about him. In the modern digital age of photoshop and CGI, all alleged UFO videos need to be investigated closely, and their sources verified. Based on his video testimony, Ed appears to be a sincere source and this latest video may be genuine. If so, along with other videos released by Ed, this video may powerful evidence that we are not alone.

Creepy Staten Island clown spotted around borough, spooks residents

A mysterious man dressed as a clown has been appearing on streets all over the New York borough.

In a strange echo of the creepy clown phenomenon that freaked out Northampton in the UK last September, people have been taking to social media sites to post photographs and sightings of another creepy clown figure that has been popping up all over New York's Staten Island.

With a devilish grin and a handful of balloons, the peculiar clown has been sighted standing on street corners and at the side of roads waving and staring at passers-by. It isn't clear whether the person in the costume is a copycat of the Northampton clown or if there's something else going on.

One popular theory at the moment is that the reports are a publicity stunt for Staten Island based film company "Fuzz on the Lens Productions" after several people associated with the firm posted an image of the clown on their social networking pages.

UFO SIGHTING: Mysterious 'flying saucer' spotted hovering over Guernsey college

A MUM has been left baffled after spotting a flying saucer-shaped object hovering over a nearby college on a live weather webcam feed.

Denise Poole, 52, said she thought she was seeing things after spotting the flying object in her daily weather check of her home island of Guernsey.

In the photos of the glowing orb, a striking red line runs through the blue disc, which has been a common trait reported in UFO sightings in the past.

Mum-of-one Denise said the object was moving slowly across the screen, then vanished, but reappeared again shortly afterwards.

She said: "There was this thing hovering in the sky.

"It looked as if it was spinning. I thought I was seeing things.

"Every now and again it went away and then came back again.

"I thought 'crumbs nobody will believe me' so I took a few pictures on my phone."

In an even stranger twist, Denise then posted the images to her Facebook page with the object disappearing from view moments later.

Police confirmed that no strange sightings were reported to the police on Sunday morning after Denise saw the illuminous object over Elizabeth College in St Peter Port.

Denise said what she saw did look like a mystery object and is still unsure what it could be.

She said: "It could well be the glare from sun but even so it's a pretty spooky image."

The news comes just two months after a pilot flying towards Heathrow Airport revealed in a statement how his plane was on a collision course with a UFO.

The statement read: "The captain was fully expecting to experience some kind of impact with a conflicting aircraft."

And just weeks ago, photo slides of suspected UFOs were released in the mix of Edward Snowden's leaked security documents.

The artist’s blood shares the same iron oxide pigment as many commercial paints, lending each image its dark rusty tone and heightening the drama of Castiglia’s macabre scenes.

For this blood artist, the unusual medium works in service of larger themes. In extracting blood from his own body, sometimes 15 vials at a time (less than a blood donation), he allows the literal life-giving substance to more deeply examine fertile powers of mankind. With the careful painting of milk-filled breasts and deliberate vaginal imagery, Castiglia celebrates the allegorical implications of motherhood and childbirth. A female figure rises from the earth, howling like the ancient Greek goddess Gaia, who birthed the entire world.

The idea of human creative potential becomes complicated with the dark suggestion of our mortality. A mother nurses from a wheelchair, her skeletal legs and decaying infant painted in dried blood, reminding viewers that with life comes inevitable ruin. Laid upon a cross, a woman bears the suffering of Jesus, her abdomen radiating light while her vulva appears to be ominously stitched shut.

The introduction of religious imagery helps resolve the tension between death and birth. Borrowing shapes and floral imagery from early Christian painting, Castiglia implies a connection between death and eternal life. In sacrificing his own blood, the artist fills not a Holy Grail but a canvas, elegantly preserving his own flesh for our consideration.
