Ron Morehead Explains Bigfoot Elusiveness

The Honobia Bigfoot Conference and Festival kicked off this weekend and the speakers includ heavy hitters  like Dr. Jeff Meldrum and Ron Morehead. Morehead, the father of the Sierra Sounds audio was at the conference and he gave this explanation to why Bigfoot is so elusive. Here's a snippet from www.muskogeephoenix.com:

Morehead said in his 40 years of interacting with the ape-man, he’s found Bigfoot to be “bigger, stronger, faster and stealthier” than people, which means it easily avoids humans.

“Why are they so elusive?” Morehead asks a captivated audience, as one woman eats a bag of popcorn. “Well, you could say they don’t want to have anything to do with our tax system or they don’t want to vote.”

His theories explaining Bigfoot’s elusiveness variously involve alien intervention and quantum physics, which he said might explain how the creature can vanish in a blink of an eye.

Morehead's Sierra Sounds recordings are one of the most important evidence supporting the existence of Sasquatch. During the early 1970s, Morehead and his long time friend Al Berry went into the woods of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in eastern California and collected a series of alleged Bigfoot vocalizations that sounded like "samurais" talking. This compilation of vocalizations is now called the "Sierra Sounds" and it has been confirmed by language expert Scott Nelson as Bigfoot language. The list of experts also includes people like, Dr. R. Lynn Kirlin of Wyoming State, Joe Hauser, a biologist. If you haven't heard some of it, listen below:

There Is Martian And Human Life On Mars : International Ufology Congress

The four-day gathering, which ended on Sunday, drew Argentina and foreign UFO researchers who discussed progress in their work, personal experiences and audiovisual records of contacts with alien spacecraft with the nearly 200 aficionados who attended the 17th  International Ufology Congress.

"We fulfilled the objective of demystifying Mars and showing that we may be closer than we think," congress organizer Luz Mary Lopez told media.

Attendees were shocked by some revelations, including those of Americans Andrew Basiago and Laura Eisenhower.

Basiago, who participated in the conference, and Eisenhower, who made her presentation via Skype, said they were chosen by the government to be teletransported on secret missions to Mars.

"I was on Mars 40 times and there is Martian and human life there," Basiago said during a two-hour presentation to an auditorium packed with people who were a mix of the mesmerized, the skeptical and the excited.

"It gave me chills, but they hide so much from us, I believe it could be true. I've seen UFOs and I believe that scientists tell people almost nothing," a woman from Cordoba who identified herself as Mabel told press.

Fernando Correa, a Mexican astronomer and reporter on the "Tercer Milenio" television show, supported Basiago's story.

"There is evidence that we are already on the Red Planet, such as a Google Mars site that shows a human base there," Correa told media persons.

The Mexican scientist hosted one of the closing talks, screening security-camera videos that showed supposed "invisible" beings and "shadows" from around the world.

"Today, you have to try to explain with science the so-called paranormal phenomena that, in reality, are more normal than the rest," Correa said.

Argentine researchers also made presentations at the conference.

Silvia Simondini, who runs the Vision Ovni (UFO Vision) center in Victoria, a city located 200 kilometers (124 miles) from Buenos Aires, discussed analyses done of spaceship fragments, local stories about alien spacecraft and collective UFO sightings across Argentina.

The curious of all ages from across this South American country attended the congress.

New Loch Ness Monster Video May Be Clearest Yet, Creature Seen Swimming Resembles Classic Photo

A new video of the Loch Ness monster captured by a passer-by on his iPhone could provide the clearest evidence yet that some sort of strange creature inhabits the mysterious lake in the Scottish Highland — as legends have described for centuries.

Or is this new “evidence” of the Loch Ness monster’s existence just another put-on? The man who shot the cell phone video — seen above — marveled at the fact that the creature seen swimming through the choppy waters of Loch Ness bears a striking resemblance to the iconic, 1934 “Surgeon’s Photo,” which is easily the most famous photo of “Nessie” ever snapped.

When the Surgeon’s Photo — so called because it was allegedly taken by a physician who at the time chose to remain anonymous — was first published it ignited a worldwide craze for new proof of the apparently dinosaur-like creature, a fascination that clearly continues to the present day.

But that instantly recognizable photo was revealed in the 1990s to be a hoax. Supposedly the hoaxer’s motive was revenge against the Daily Mail newspaper, which had earlier hired the man to find evidence of the monster then fired and publicly humiliated him when he failed to do so.

On the other hand, many Loch Ness monster hunters believe that the “hoax” story is itself a hoax, and that the photo may indeed authentically depict the famed aquatic beast.

In either case, the video posted Sunday on YouTube as well on the websites of Scotland’s Daily Record and England’s Daily Mirror newspapers, does appear to show a moving, snake-like or lizard-like creature moving rapidly through the water, breaching the surface repeatedly.

“It’s an anomaly that I can’t really explain. I’m a bit of a doubter of a lot of things until I see it myself and I wouldn’t have believed what I saw if someone else was telling me,” said Richard Collis, the 58-year-old tree planter who took the video — and who also says that he has fished in Loch Ness since his childhood and never experienced a sighting anything like what he saw last week.

“I don’t really believe in anything like that until I see it but what I saw was obviously what the Loch Ness Monster is,” Collis told the Daily Record. “I’m not saying it was a fire breathing dragon and I never saw teeth or anything like that, but I must have thought there was something there if I stopped to take pictures.”

The new Loch Ness monster video appears just days after a new photo purporting to show the creature poking its head through the waves of Loch Ness was revealed at a paranormal conference in Scotland.

Spaceship Filmed Firing Thrusters In Front Of Moon

This clip shows what I believe to be a spaceship under intelligent control, in orbit and firing its thrusters/engines in front of the moon - and beyond. I have never seen footage like this.

Ghostly figure appears in THREE holiday snaps taken by couple at Cyprus castle where traitors were thrown to death

It's a common conception that ghosts show up in photographs. Still, it's unusual to capture the same apparition three times, from multiple angles, hundreds of metres away and in broad daylight.

Spooked couple Michael and Wendy Holmes believe they caught a ghostly figure in a number of shots taken while on a day trip to a historic mountaintop castle and monastery while on holiday in Cyprus.

The Holmes' were visiting the Mediterranean isle for a family wedding but it was only once they got home to England and looked at the images on screen that they noticed something was amiss.

A mystery white shape appears in three different photographs, all taken from separate angles, standing on a viewing platform near the eleventh century Saint Hilarion Castle far above the couple.

The Origin of Witches

Ask any Western child to draw a witch, and the chances are that he or she will come up with something familiar: most likely a hook-nosed hag wearing a pointy hat, riding a broomstick or stirring a cauldron. But where did this image come from? The answer is more arresting and complex than you might think, as I discovered last week when I visited Witches and Wicked Bodies, a new exhibition at the British Museum in London that explores the iconography of witchcraft.

Witches have a long and elaborate history. Their forerunners appear in the Bible, in the story of King Saul consulting the so-called Witch of Endor. They also crop up in the classical era in the form of winged harpies and screech-owl-like “strixes” – frightening flying creatures that fed on the flesh of babies.

UFO abduction caught on security cam in North Dakota?

A fantastic UFO video, uploaded to YouTube on Nov. 7, shows what looks like an alien abduction of a driver cruising a dark street in Cavalier, North Dakota, as the car suddenly disappears in a blinding flash of light. The whole incident was caught on a security camera mounted atop a building on the main street of the quiet little town.

As the sequence opens, no traffic is flowing on the street, but a few stores along the thoroughfare have their lights on, so it's probably just after dusk. As the video rolls out, several cars appear in a side street about a block away, with one making a turn to the left and out of camera range. The second continues slowly down the main street when, out of nowhere, a blinding flash of light illuminates the screen. When the scene returns to normal, just a split second later, the car and driver are nowhere to be seen.

There is little description on the video to explain what's happened, other than giving the location, so it's not clear exactly when this incident occurred. The street itself is dimly lit, but for a few streetlights and some illumination coming from a few storefronts. The sidewalks are deserted of other people, so, it's possible that, but for the security camera footage, there were no actual eyewitnesses to the strange event.

The UFO sighting comes on the heels of some other bizarre incidents in the news lately, particularly the story of the thousands of eyewitnesses in Australia who saw a strange, glowing cloud with a hole in the middle, revealing a rainbow from within. Some have speculated the cloud was concealing an alien, UFO mother ship which accidentally revealed itself. Could this incident have something to do with such a weird phenomenon?
