According to ancient myth it is Mount Olympus the chosen home of immortal deities known as the Olympians. Mt. Olympus was viewed as sacred by the ancient Greeks, and still today holds a very special place in history and mythology, not only in Greece, but worldwide. Just below this Greek giant lies the city of Dion which is a major center of pilgrimage and religious worship since the 5th century B.C. This mysterious city is viewed as a special place on Earth, a place were goosebumps are anything but unfamiliar. Alexander the Great came to Dion before launching off on his vast conquest of Asia, this tells you that there is something very special about this place, something that could have been misinterpreted by ancient mankind, something that they attributed to the gods… since they’re knowledge did not offer them another explanation?
The Greeks were fascinated by Mt. Olympus, and they firmly believed that real people - gods were living on the mountain. But is there any proof that would suggest that this place was indeed extraterrestrial? Written history tells about lighting flashes, storm clouds and terrible sounds originating from Mount Olympus. But what where they? Manifestation of the gods? Or is there a possibility that this was simply misinterpreted extraterrestrial technology? Today, We could interpret ancient history in a very different way. Today when you talk about, lightning, fire, smoke and frightening sound, and you add to that stories of “Gods” ascending to the stars, you take a moment and think, and at one point you can make a connection to Space travel… Space Ships that lift off leaving behind fire, smoke and frightening sounds. The ideal question you simply have to ask yourself… is there a possibility that Ancient Greeks misinterpreted these manifestations on Mount Olympus and tagged them as the wrath of the Gods? Is there a slight possibility that these “Gods” that we read about in history today, were actually sky beings who descended on Earth at Mt. Olympus? There is a huge possibility that these beings did in fact interact with humans and given our limited knowledge at that point in history, we simply could not have categorized these events in any other way but… Divine. Whenever we hear stories about Mount Olympus, we understand that it is a majestic place, where gold and silver predominate, bright lights and sparks fill the air and one can imagine the view… but what if all of these descriptions were depictions of high-tech devices, ancient man could not have understood. For many years we know that historians explained these events as mythological, but then suddenly in 1870 German archaeologist Heinrich Schleimann discovered Troy and thousands of questions were raised from the ash and then you realize that mythology simply cannot be accredited to these historical recordings. You begin to ask yourself if there is a slight possibility that these events recorded in our history were genuine stories backed up by evidence? One of the most interesting stories is the one that talks about the Oracle at Delphi where we have one of the most famous Greek Gods… Apollo speaking through the Oracle. Historians believed that The Oracle at Delphi was just another myth, right until archaeologists found the exact spot where the Oracle at Delphi sat. So suddenly Mythology becomes evidence, and yet another topic raises many more questions.
Is there a possibility that all of these events aren’t just stories that are explained through mythology? At this point can we ask, if it is possible that these “Gods” were actually extraterrestrial beings who came to Earth influencing mankind? “Gods” seen as powerful deities who were in fact visitors from another world? Greek poet Hesiod from the eighth century BC talks about the Olympians and strange events that took place at Mount Olympus. Ancient authors credited him and Homer with establishing Greek religious customs. His is the first European poetry in which the poet regards himself as a topic, an individual with a distinctive role to play. Modern scholars refer to him as a major source on Greek mythology, farming techniques, early economic archaic Greek astronomy and ancient time-keeping. - Wikipedia The Olympians were the children of the Titans, another generation of gods thought to occupy nearby Mount Othrys. Fed up with the oppressive rule of the Titans, the Olympians decided to step up and waged a terrible war against the Titans using Mt. Olympus as their standing ground. History tells about incredible battles that took place in the plains between the mountains, the Olympians prevailed finally defeating and capturing the Titans. Is there a possibility that the stories of war waged by the Olympians and the Titans were “mythological” stories of extraterrestrial beings using Earth as their battleground? Given the discoveries we are stumbling upon today, can we reinterpret these events in a modern way? In a way that Ancient mankind simply could not? Let us know what you think.
