UFO video shows light hovering over home in England

A man and his wife saw a UFO hovering over their home in the West Yorkshire town of Ossett during the evening of Sunday, December 29 at approximately 5:30 p.m.

The husband, Ian Rimmington, observed the object with his wife, and he recorded video of the UFO as it hovered in the sky. He described the object to the Wakefield Express as “a rectangular object that was green at the top and red at the bottom.”
Rimmington further explained, “It came across our house and then vanished in front of us. I can’t envisage what it was so I for the first time in my life I may have witnessed a unidentified flying object.”

Alien life could be more widespread than previously thought.

According to a new study, researchers believe that Earth-sized planets can support life at least ten times farther away from their host stars than previously thought.

Researchers from the University of Aberdeen and the University of St Andrews recently published a paper asserting that cold rocky planets previously considered inhospitable to life as we know it may actually be habitable beneath the surface. Phys.org explains that the team of researchers “created a computer model that estimates the temperature below the surface of a planet of a given size, at a given distance from its star.”

PhD student Sean McMahon, one of the team’s members, explains that “The deepest known life on Earth is 5.3 km below the surface, but there may well be life even 10 km deep in places on Earth that haven’t yet been drilled.” He continues, “Using our computer model we discovered that the habitable zone for an Earth-like planet orbiting a sun-like star is about three times bigger if we include the top five kilometres below the planet surface . . . If we go deeper, and consider the top 10 km below the Earth’s surface, then the habitable zone for an Earth-like planet is 14 times wider.”
According to Phys.org, our solar system’s current habitable zone extends out as far as Mars, but taking subsurface habitability into account, “this re-drawn habitable zone would see the zone extend out further than Jupiter and Saturn.”
Hoping to encourage other researchers to expand their views on where life may exist, McMahon states, “The results suggest life may occur much more commonly deep within planets and moons than on their surfaces. This means it might be worth looking for signs of life outside conventional habitable zones. I hope people will study the ways in which life below the surface might reveal itself. Because it’s not unimaginable that there might be signs at the surface that life exists deep below.”
This is not the first time McMahon and his colleagues have proposed an expanded habitable zone. The team presented a new habitability model back in 2012, which took into account a planet’s potential for underground water, and, therefore life.

Four UFOs filmed above US town.

A worker in the small US town of Andover in Massachusetts captured four mysterious lights in the night sky on December 19.

‘The lights were odd compared to aircraft that I am aware of as they were constantly on, and flickered just a bit but did not blink,’ they explained.
‘The lights were the same intensity from the time they came out of the horizon through to the time they went past and outwards, and gradually weakened in size and intensity as they went out of view.’

UFO: Seattle Tunnel Drill Uncovers Possible Alien Activities.

December 2013 marked a very unforgettable day for the people of Seattle. As reported by UFO Sightings Daily on December 24, 2013, Bertha, a huge tunnel boring machine was already digging down in the native glacial soil when it suddenly stopped in its tracks.

Project manager Chris Dixon, did not expect that this colossal machine would hit anything with the depth of the digging they were already at.

"Well theoretically, we're down in the native soils, we're below the zones that they fill. We're not expecting to find artifacts or railroad locomotives or ships or something like that down there".

Many speculated that Big Bertha could have hit the side walls of one of the many alien bases on Earth.

Feliks Banel, Seattle's historian elaborated on the history of the place 100 years ago. As a working waterfront, the object could be a part of a locomotive or a part of an old ship. However, he also did not discount the possibility of the presence of UFOs and extra-terrestrial activities.

"Maybe it's some ancient artifact, maybe there is an ancient civilization here that goes way back that nobody's even considered."

Feliks Banel is hoping that whatever it is that is stopping Bertha, it would be something cool. UFO Sightings Daily is coordinated by Scott C. Waring who had been affiliated with the United States Air Force at SAC base and is currently an ESL teacher and UFOlogist who lives in Taiwan.

Nvidia Promotes New Chip with Crop Circle.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A 310-foot "crop circle" in a California barley field that mystified locals this week was explained Sunday: it was a publicity stunt by Nvidia Corp., a maker of chips for PCs and smartphones.
The crop circle near Chualar, Calif., contained a stylized image of a computer chip and the number "192" in Braille. On Sunday, the company announced the Tegra K1, a new chip for tablets and smartphones that contains 192 computing "cores," or mini-computers, for graphics applications.
Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said at a press conference in Las Vegas, ahead of the International Consumer Electronics Show, that he had given his marketing department the mission to promote the chip on a shoe-string budget. The crop circle received wide attention. Rumors of Santa Clara, Calif.-based Nvidia's involvement appeared Sunday before the press conference.

The circle was plowed under a few days after its discovery.
Tablets are becoming a popular platform for gaming, undermining Nvidia's core business of creating powerful chips that enhance the look of PC games. It's had some success with its chips for mobile gadgets like smartphones and tablets, but has been overshadowed by Qualcomm Inc.
In the new Tegra K1, the graphics component is based on its "Kepler" design, used in high-end PCs. The chip would makes for a tablet more powerful than an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 game console, while consuming one-twentieth the power.
"We've bridged the gap — we've brought mobile computing to the same level as desktop computing," Huang said.
The 192 cores in the new chip compare to Nvidia's previous flagship, the Tegra 4, with 72 graphics cores.
Huang demonstrated near photo-realistic simulations of environments and human faces, run on the new chip. He said Epic Games will adapt the next version of its Unreal Engine, the basis for many popular games, so that it will work on the chip. He didn't announce when the chip would be available or any gadget makers that were adopting it.

SECRET GERMANY HIDDEN UFO PHOTOS REVEALED.

Lieutenant Bob Walker was a 2nd lieutenant in the Army. After World War II at a NASA (then NACA) open house, he saw a 30-foot saucer-shaped craft which had been brought back from Germany for study. On another occasion, he was piloting an aircraft for a TV station when a disc shaped object came in from the west. He had his camera and climbed to 12,000 feet to take some photos of it.

Jet in 'near miss' with UFO.

An airline pilot reports a close encounter with a UFO near Heathrow Airport which has baffled the aviation authorities.

Source: The Telegraph

It was certainly a close encounter, but with precisely what remains a mystery.
An airline pilot has reported a near miss in which a “rugby ball”-shaped UFO passed within a few feet of his passenger jet while flying near Heathrow Airport.
The captain told the aviation authorities who have investigated the incident that he was certain the object was going to crash into his aircraft and ducked as it headed towards him.
The investigation has been unable to establish any earthly identity for the mysterious craft, which left the aircrew with no time to take evasive action.
The incident occurred while the A320 Airbus was cruising at 34,000ft, around 20 miles west of the airport, over the Berkshire countryside.
