The fact that a strange ‘clicking’ radio transmission seems to be coming from inside the comet – sounding eerily like a Predator’s jaws opening and closing – has just stoked the fires of conspiracy theorists, just as the Rosetta craft’s Philae Lander touches down.

Explore the internet too long, and you’ll be firmly convinced Ming the Merciless and Darth Vader are enjoying a final Martini inside before obliterating our planet, and using us all as sex-slaves in the brothel-pits of Proxima Centauri.

Nigel Watson, author of the Haynes UFO Investigations Manual says there are five main ‘theories’ as to what the rock might REALLY be.

To any UFO enthusiast, the idea that it might just be a lump of ice is preposterous, an obvious cover-up and frankly boring. Here’s what they REALLY believe…

It’s a UFO Armada, advancing on Earth

UFO Sightings Daily excitedly proclaimed that it was a UFO armada, largely on the evidence of a small piece of rubbish down one side, and a beacon-ish thing (a rock) showing that there were UFOs parked inside ready for some annoying space probe to goad them into fury.

No one has seen any UFOs – but if there are aliens lurking within, they may well be habitual litterbugs.

A picture of a disc-shaped UFO swooping past the comet in September led the more certifiable members of the UFO community to conclude that there was some sort of parking bay for saucers inside the flying rock 300 million miles from Earth. There is however, no diesel or unleaded pumps, mor a Wild Bean Cafe or KFC.

‘One blogger suggested that the whole reason for this multi-million pound project is to search for alien life or even contact it, as it did not make sense to spend so much on just visiting a lifeless ‘rock,’ Watson says.

Why an alien tourist might have chosen to spend four billion years sitting inside a featureless lump of ice is another question…

Watson says, ‘Lots of UFO bloggers point out that NASA has received radio transmissions from the comet for 20 years, and that instead of being a comet it is in actual fact an ancient spaceship.’ Imagine the sort of mood Darth’ll be in if you wake him up before he gets his beauty sleep…’

Man has joked about little green men from Mars since 1955 when newspaper reporters employed journalists’ license in reporting an alleged alien encounter. While NASA has yet to encounter any humanoid creatures on Mars, let alone little green men, new evidence has surfaced that has many believers talking. A glowing orb has been spotted in images sent back from the Mars Curiosity rover in November. This mysterious ball of light shows up in eight images. According to a Nov. 12 report on UFO Sightings Daily, the orb moves with intelligence. It was filmed with the Sols Front Hazz Camera.

The orb was reportedly discovered by Paranormal Crucible of YouTube who uploaded an animated render of the eight images to show the movement of the light over the face of Mars. Although skeptics claim what appears to be a ball of light is actually a dead pixel, the video explains that a dead pixel cannot account for the way the light appears in a different position in each image. A dead pixel remains in approximately the same position in the field of view of the camera, which clearly is not the case in this instance. According to Paranormal Crucible, the glowing white light is surveying the surface of Mars.

Orbs are plentiful in the paranormal world and are believed by many to be the disembodied energy of ghosts and spirits. Whether the light on Mars is an orb, a UFO or some other alien technology is unknown, but judging from Paranormal Crucible’s animated render of the photos, something odd is going on on the surface of Mars.

Mother claims the ghost of a US Marine killed in battle 30 years ago is possessing her four-year-old son, who is now re-living details of the soldier's death

A Virginia mom has come to believe the ghost of a US Marine who was killed over 30 years ago in a terror attack is somehow now possessing her four-year-old son.

Michele Lucas of Virginia Beach claims her son Andrew has been recalling the story of Sgt. Val Lewis, a soldier who died in the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing.

Lucas told WTKR-TV it started when the toddler began talking about things no child his age should, beginning with saying he used to live at 860 Main Street in Sumter, Georgia.

Lucas began researching herself but couldn't work out what Andrew was talking to, however the behavior only increased.

Exclusive new pictures INSIDE Siberian crater

A mission this week to the newly-formed crater on the Yamal Peninsula in northern Siberia is expected throw fresh light on how this and other such phenomenon were formed. Experts are working on a theory that gas hydrates caused underground explosions in the same way as eruptions under the Atlantic Ocean may have led to the Bermuda Triangle phenomenon.

Our new pictures show how, for the first time, scientists used climbing equipment to reach the base of the crater - a lake at least 10.5 metres deep with a frozen surface.

Leader of the new mission, Vladimir Pushkarev, director of the Russian Centre of Arctic Exploration, told The Siberian Times: 'We managed to go down into the funnel, all was successful. We used climbing equipment, and it is easier to do this in winter, than in summer, with the ground now hard.

'We took all the probes we planned, and made measurements. Now scientists need time to process all the data and only then can they draw conclusions.'

The funnel of the crater is about 16.5 metres deep, not including an earthen rampart on the surface, formed in the blowout, of several metres in height.

At the base is a frozen lake. 'The depth of the mini-lake is about 10.5 metres but it can be deeper. We are waiting for the exact information from readings taken by the scientists', Vladimir Pushkarev said. 

The research to the largest of three known holes - all recently formed - in northern Siberia was initiated by the Russian Centre of Arctic Exploration, and included experts from a number of institutes. 'They did radiolocation tests at a depth of 200 metres, took probes of ice, ground, gases, and air. Now they all went back to their institutes and labs and will work on the material. The next stage is processing of the gathered information. 

'Then we plan to explore the surrounding area, comparing images from space, and even those taken in the 1980s, to understand if there are - or were - some similar objects'.

Mr Pushkarev claimed it is too early to draw conclusions on theories on the  crater's formation, including the suggestion from Russian scientist Igor Yeltsov, the deputy head of the Trofimuk Institute, that heating from above the surface due to unusually warm climatic conditions, and from below, due to geological fault lines, led to a huge release of gas hydrates, causing the eruption.

When the crater was first highlighted, earlier this year, it stoked many different theories including a manmade hoax, the work of aliens from outer space, a meteorite or even a stray missile. These are now discounted. 

'I've heard about this Bermuda Triangle idea, but I repeat, our scientists need to work on materials first and only then draw some definite conclusions. At the moment we don't have enough information,' said Mr Pushkarev, a climber, rescuer and explorer who led the experts to the scene in temperatures of minus 11C.

'We haven't worked with other funnels yet. We plan to do this, but first of all we need to understand completely the nature of this very funnel to be able to create a model which then we'll use to compare with other craters'.

This is an exciting announcement folks. The ESA has announced this week that Comet 67P has been sending radio signals. In my opinion this is not a code. It is how a species of aliens communicate to one another without speaking. A form of telepathy put into primitive radio signals. Its the only way this species can communicate to us. This is their thoughts. They don't talk. They look like the 1 meter tall greys, but with a skin that has a tint of brown. Yeah, I have heard this sound before. Listen to the video below to hear the signal...the song as they call it. A repeated message.

Because this signal was put into radio transmissions, a very primitive technology to send messages with...the signal had to have been made for humanity. Getting a copy of the full message and then translating it should be of utter importance. Is it a message of greetings? Or is it a warning of whats to come? We the people of the world need to find out.
