Surprise golf-ball-sized Hailstorm Causes Panic on Russian Beach (Video)

A relaxing day at the beach turned into a nightmare for swimmers and sunbathers in western Siberia when a cyclone spewing golf-ball-sized hail tore into the area within seconds.
In a video uploaded to YouTube on Saturday, beachgoers in Siberia's largest city, Novosibirsk, can be seen making the most of the sunny, 37 degree Celsius (100 degree Fahrenheit) weather before a quick change in fortunes sees the temperature drop about 20 C as the hailstorm advances upon the city.
As the winds start to pick up, the bathers — many of whom are wearing nothing but their swimwear — can be seen slowly gathering their possessions together, before a downpour of ice leaves people covering their heads as they run for shelter. The hail can be seen hitting the river in an image reminiscent of a war scene.
As the video continues, people can be seen hiding behind towels and under parasols as pieces of debris swirl in the air around them. A lone swimmer emerges from the nearby river sheltering her face and looking somewhat bedraggled.
According to the regional weather bureau, the extreme weather front witnessed over the weekend in Siberia was also experienced in towns and cities across Russia's Ural Mountain region, and was an extremely rare phenomenon.
"The last time such an event [happened] in the middle of July was 100 years ago. In 1912-1914 there was a cold snap and freshly fallen snow," said Galina Sheporenko, a senior forecaster at the Urals weather bureau, local news agency UralInformBuro reported.
While the region's residents can expect warmer weather in the short term, temperatures may cool again in the second half of the week, the report added.
Warning: Video contains Russian curse words.

Real Picture: NASA Astronaut Snaps Photo of A Triangular UFO From Space

This photo comes directly from The Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth, a government website operated by NASA at the Earth Sciences and Image Analysis department at Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. They are responsible for training the astronauts in Earth observations, cataloging and archiving the photographs that astronauts take from space using hand held cameras and more. Here is the homepage, as you can see it has a .gov URL  It’s very interesting that they would allow a photo like this one to be put up on the website.
Please keep in mind that a UFO stands for “Unidentified Flying Object.” I am not claiming that this particular UFO is extraterrestrial in origin.
For those of you new to the UFO topic, here is a quick introduction done by historian and UFO researcher Richard Dolan.

Teenage Girl Captures On Her iPad The Ghost Of A Man Wearing A Top Hat?

Charlotte Wearing, 16, claims to have captured with her iPad a Victorian ghost wearing a top hat, in her garden. What makes this case compelling are the claims by both the girl and her mother that they have seen the same man/ghost on their property regularly over the last four years. Charlotte also claims to have seen the ghost of woman in a blue dress holding a baby in her house last year.
Could it be a hoax backed up by elaborate lies? The mother and daughter would be in serious need of counselling if that was the case. There’s also apps out there that will add a ghost to your photos. If that was the case however, one would think that they would be quickly exposed as fraudsters by those who are familiar with the ghosts used in these apps – the 2 ladies must have been aware of that before pulling a hoax.
There’s also the possibility that this is a photoshopped photo. One thing seems to be obvious tho is that is not an optical illusion or pareidolia. The hat is extremely well defined, it is on top of a defined head, which is on top of the shape of a human torso. And the black shape in the photo, forming the man, has no business being there.
Experts should be able to determine if the photo was altered in a graphic software by looking at the JPEG/Exif code.
What do you think? Real ghost?

Hollow Earth conspiracy theories: the hole truth

For centuries, Hollow Earth conspiracy theorists have tried to prove that there’s a whole other world beneath our own. But first they need to find the way in...

Late at night, on October 4 2002, a strange guest appeared on a cult American radio show. Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell had a reputation for exploring weird themes with fascinating guests, but few had ever sounded as excited as this one.

Listen HERE

Dallas Thompson was a former personal trainer who had spent his youth in Hawaii but now lived in Bakersfield, California. His life had changed forever following a terrible accident, five years earlier. He’d been driving along Highway 58 during heavy rain when his car had aquaplaned, spinning four times, only to plunge backwards down a 250ft drop.
When Thompson was found, the roof of his blue Honda Accord had been crushed almost to the floor. The fireman who rescued him was amazed he hadn’t been decapitated. As he’d been sitting, helpless, in the wreck, Thompson had had a vivid near-death experience. He claimed to have seen a “light so bright that it burnt my eyes” and made him “legally blind” and to have had bizarre knowledge about the world poured into him. When he regained consciousness, he was convinced that the Earth was hollow and had an opening at the North Pole. He’d come on Coast to Coast to discuss his mission to locate and explore it.

“There are cavern systems and caves that traverse the whole mantle,” he told Bell, whose scepticism often took the form of slightly extended silences. Because of the special atmosphere in the hole, Thompson explained, living creatures were protected from pollutants and harmful rays. There were herds of mammoth and ancient tribes down there, the members of which lived to be around 1,700 years old.
“How do you know all this?” asked Bell.
“I just do,” said Thompson. “I remembered stuff that has been forgotten.”
Later, Bell asked after his mental health.
“Are you manic?”
“I’m just excited,” said Thompson.
“… I can tell.”
Perhaps most incredibly, Thompson revealed he’d secured funding to travel to the hole with a helicopter backpack called a SoloTrek, which he’d use to descend into it. He even had a date for the trip: May 24 2003.
Over the next few months, news of Thompson’s expedition spread. He began to receive emails from media companies keen to report the story and many more from both critics and admirers. The sprawling book he’d written, which included his theories about Hollow Earth, began to sell.
In December 2002, two months after his radio appearance, he posted a message on his Yahoo Group page describing an inundation of “over 5,600 emails every few days”. He said his book, Cosmic Manuscript, had become a bestseller but he was pulling it from sale. “I have requested the book be discontinued even though it’s still at the top of the charts in Canada,” he wrote.
And then, the most mysterious event of all took place. All of a sudden, Thompson disappeared…
For many centuries, humankind has dreamt of inner worlds. Numerous writers have been inspired by the idea, not least Tarzan creator Edgar Rice Burroughs (At the Earth’s Core, 1914), Edgar Allen Poe (The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket, 1838) and, most famously, Jules Verne, whose 1864 novel A Journey to the Centre of the Earth has been adapted numerous times for both stage and screen.
Thousands of contemporary theorists discuss what is commonly referred to as “the greatest ever secret” on internet forums. On YouTube, videos claim that the satellite images on Google Earth have been altered to cover up the existence of the holes, while other videos claim the holes are there for all to see.

(VIDEO) Couple Sets Up CCTV Camera To Catch Vandals – Catches ‘Child Ghost’ Instead!

Lisa Rigley, 44, and husband Phil, 51, of Clifton, Nottingham, set up a security camera outside their home in an attempt to catch vandals but what they ended up catching left them gobsmacked!
When a neighbor, who complained of having some ornaments from her front garden stolen, asked them if they could review the footage from their CCTV camera, Lisa and Phil went through the tape and saw something perhaps more terrifying than a thief, they saw what they think is a ghost!

A glowing white mass appeared on their footage, resembling the shape of a child, moving all over the place.
Lisa said: “The image of a child jumped over my fence, landed over the roof of my car, flew down the street and flew back.”
“It’s a ghost, it’s got to be.” She added.
While intriguing, the only way to really judge the value of the case is to analyze the footage, study how the shape moves, evaluate the distance traveled vs time, etc… And to say it looks like the shape of a small child seems a bit of a stretch.
What could it be?
