UFOs reported moving out of ocean near Marine base

Several witnesses near Camp Pendleton, CA, reported groups of UFOs moving in and out of the ocean for more than an hour, according to testimony in one of the 94 cases logged in over Memorial Day weekend from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness in Case 56569 recalled events that occurred with three friends beginning about 8 p.m. on July 10, 2011, after they traveled Trestle's Trail leading to a cliff overlooking the beach and noticed lights in the water.

"We saw a red light turn on and it was just bobbing in the water," the witness stated. "In some time two more red lights appeared bobbing in the water. We continued to watch for about 45 minutes as the lights would turn off, turn green, and multiply until there were about 13 lights bobbing in the water."

The group decided to go home, but the reporting witness and one friend walked away together.

"About 30 minutes after we separated we were near home but decided to stop at a spot nicknamed 'the view,' next to San Onofre Middle School, to get a look at the lights again. We watched them bob for another 20 minutes before about half of them ascended and zoomed in formation into space without making a sound, as five to six others came into view from what I'd say to be a warp-speed capacity and gently stopped for half a second and then dove into the water and all of the lights in the water at that time disappeared as if diving down with the newly arrived ones."

The two continued to watch.

"So we stayed there for another 20 minutes fixated on the ocean before noticing there's a sort of stereotypical looking saucer-and-dome with a white light circling the diameter of the saucer. It was as high as a helicopter might fly. It was making slow, wide orbits around us overhead."

The two began walking toward their housing area, but kept an eye on the sky for the lights.

"We saw another fleet of the red/green light ships (they were all red at this time). They were moving fast, and low. I'd say only 50-60 feet in the air, and still not making a sound. The one in the lead of the formation did a loop while it passed us, quickly slowing speed and coming lower to us, about 30 feet, then within two seconds of that, it matched the speed of the fleet and continued in the lead. They were being pursued by what we thought were highly sophisticated, small, and quiet fighter jets, but upon reflection they must have been drones."

The group of objects then moved out over the ocean.

"The drones were in quick pursuit but without any sort of sound or light being emitted. They did not come out the other side of the cloud like the UFOs had. Then half the fleet of ships dove into the ocean and the other half zoomed out of sight towards the stars."

The witness got a good look at one of objects.

"They were of a smooth metal, like liquid mercury, and their shape was like a red blood cell, with the red half-sphere light atop in the middle. They were probably about six feet wide and about 12 feet long. It wasn't even higher than the telephone pole we were next to."

The two decided to return to "the view" area.

"At the same light pole we saw the blood-cell ship at we noticed the stereotypical dome ship was still observing us, following us overhead. So we stopped and I started waving my hands like you'd do in an S.O.S, and it started orbiting in a circle above us again and then descended to where he was probably only 10 feet higher than the telephone pole and hovered there for about a minute and then all of a sudden zoomed into space, just as fast and quiet as the rest."

Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is located in Southern California, and is in San Diego County. MUFON Southern California is investigating.

This dark object was discovered in Sol 644 by Streetcap1 of Youtube. I looked for other images of the mountain area, but none were of this exact location. The black UFO was not in any other photos. The photo label says Navcam: Right B 2014-05-29 20:19:36 UTC.

Are mummified remains of unidentified creature proof of the mythological Kappa?

In ancient Japanese folklore, the Kappa is a water demon that inhabits rivers and lakes and devours disobedient little children. While some believe the legend originated from sightings of the Japanese Giant Salamander, a species still alive today, others maintain that the myth is real and that an unusual set of mummified remains, showing a webbed hand and a foot, is proof that the Kappa exists. Now people will have the opportunity to see for themselves as the unusual body parts will go on display for the first time on the island of Kyuushuu in Japan.

The Kappa, a word meaning ‘river child’, is usually depicted with the body of a tortoise, a beak, and the limbs of a frog, and has a hollow filled with water on top of his head. While they are primarily water creatures, they are believed to occasionally venture onto land. According to legend, the cavity must be kept wet when the Kappa ventures out of the water, or he will lose his powers.

Kappa are usually seen as mischievous troublemakers or trickster figures. Their pranks range from the relatively innocent, such as making rude noises or looking up women's kimonos, to the malevolent, such as drowning people and animals, and kidnapping children and eating them. Parents are known to use the legend of the Kappa to scare children away from the water.

The Kappa is one of the most well-known folk legends in Japan and many believe the mythical creature to be true. In fact, there are signs near some lakes in Japan warning people of their presence.  However, others maintain it is much more likely that the legend of the Kappa is connected with sightings of the Japanese Giant Salamander, or ‘hanzaki’, which is known to be aggressive and to grab its prey with its powerful jaws.

Now believers and sceptics alike will have the opportunity to see some mummified remains, purportedly belonging to a Kappa, and to decide whether or not they belong to the legendary creature. The remains, which include a foot and an arm with hand attached, are said to have been given to the Miyakonijo Shimazu family after a Kappa was supposedly shot on a riverbank in 1818. They will now go on show for the first time at the Miyakonojo Shimazu Residence in Miyazaki prefecture on the island of Kyuushuu in Japan.

The mummified remains are not the first Kappa mummies to have been found.  A number of claims of Kappa mummies have been made, although some are known to have been crafted by Edo-period artists (1603 to 1867) using parts of animals ranging from monkeys and owls to stingrays.

The Edo period saw some serious scientific literature devoted to the study of the Kappas. Suikokouryaku (1820), for example, is a compendium of kappa-related information gathered from a variety of sources from Japan and China. The book, which is housed in the Iwase Bunko Library, includes numerous kappa sketches, several of which are shown below.

According to Japanese folklore, one way in which one can defeat a Kappa is to take advantage of its obsession with manners. If a person were to deep bow to a Kappa, it would return the gesture, causing the water to spill from the hollow on its head, thus rendering it immune to its powers. It was believed that if a human were to refill the water, the kappa would serve them for all eternity.  Legends say that Kappa can also be repelled using their aversion to iron, sesame, or ginger.

After centuries of stories and investigations, scientists have not managed to confirm the existence of the mysterious creature, despite the fact that numerous bones have been discovered that are said to belong to the Kappa.

Siberia – UFO Touchdown And Strange Figures Captured On Video

A two videos from two independent witnesses filmed in the remote Irkutsk region of Siberia,Russia, appears to show a strange glowing craft landing and five figures that looks like extraterrestrial aliens walking in the snow. 

The cloud looking object had lights or glow around it, the first video showed it and the figures although the camera man/witness didn’t focused on the craft and figurs and filmed them directly, and that’s raising some questions. May be he didn’t noticed the event, or thought it’s a natural phenomena that looks strange on video and more.

The second video shows what look like the moment the object left the ground and took off. Just hours prior to the March 1 incident, air-traffic controllers in Yakutks, Siberia, claim to have picked up a UFO on radar traveling at 6000 mph at a height of 65,000ft. When they tried to communicate with the crew on board  they heard strange noises as response.

According to UFO researcher Mike Cohen: ‘Two days after these clips were taken the town of Bayanday reported a crash of a huge pink and blue glowing object. An enormous explosion was then heard over a wide area.’
