Pamplona’s Running Of The Bulls Festival Is Usually A Lot Of Fun. Except When This Happens. OUCH…

The Running of the Bulls festival in northern Spanish city of Pamplona is as fun for the participants as it is controversial. And I guess the beginning of this year’s festival will provide plenty of fuel for both camps.
The thrill seeking supporters will love it even more, for it furnishes further proof that the danger is real. Their opponents, on the other hand, will feel even more justified in their demands to shut the whole thing down.
So what happened? Well, a properly enraged bull charged at a man, pushed him on the ground and attacked him with its horns as he lay there, surrounded by terrified onlookers, some of whom, as you will see in the images below, couldn’t stand the sight and turned away.
The bull proceeded to butt the buttocks of the prostrate man, before savagely goring his hapless victim. Onlookers braved the wrath of the enraged beast in an attempt to pull the wounded man away. Unfortunately, no information has been released as to the state of the victim. I hope he makes a full recovery.

And here are the videos:
